Ethos of Alternatives to Vaccination (A2V)
Who is this section written for?
This section is mainly for parents, who are looking for a possible alternative to conventional vaccination/immunisation. Who ask the question: Is there an alternative to conventional vaccination?
Parents will find information on:
- Conventional vaccinations and
- Suggestions for alternatives to conventional vaccinations, called Homeopathic Immunisation Programme (H.I.P.), or homeoprophylaxis.
I acknowledge that this is a very complex topic, where proponents and opponents alike can back up their opposing views with seemingly convincing data. Most often the findings are quoted selectively. I have not shied away from including both sets of data where available (see the case of whooping cough). In the end, it is you, the parents, who have to take a difficult decision.
This section tries to give a picture of the risks and benefits of conventional vaccination as well as homeopathic immunisation. We hope that you as parents feel confident that the Homeopathic Immunisation Programme (H.I.P.) can, on balance, offer your children a possible alternative to the use of conventional vaccinations.
So far, research suggests that H.I.P. holds a unique position when it comes to this topic. Research hints at the fact that this programme does not only protect from infectious diseases, but improves overall immunity of children. My view is that this justifies further research on the grounds that we do not seem to do any harm by using H.I.P., but actually improve the children’s health. We fully recognise that more research needs to be done in this field.
Looking at the topic of vaccination reasonable and well-founded doubts can be raised about the alleged efficacy and harmlessness of this type of protection. There are also doubts about the ethics involved in the vaccination industry. Therefore, parents have a right (possibly duty) to look at this issue critically. [see www.whale.to/vaccines/gaublomme.html]
We would like to stress that the key to a healthy child is to boost the child’s natural immunity wherever possible through good diet, healthy living conditions and emotional care.
H.I.P. can add to the protection and improvement of the child’s health, but it cannot substitute good diet and healthy living conditions.
On the other hand, vaccinations tend to endanger those children who have already a lowered immunity.
